So this was the first thing I experamented with using Melotron samples on. For those who don’t know, the Melotron was a 60s era analog tape based sampling device, its the instrument that gave The Beatles’ "Strawberry Fields Forever" that distinct sound.
I had also just adjusted my audio interfaces’ latency compensation so there was no lag in recorded tracks, and I put that to the test here by recording every drum sound (bass, snair, symbols) as their own tracks, and it worked out great.
I wish I had the stem for this, but I don’t.
This was done using some Melotron samples, the drums are from the SGM V2.01 MIDI soundfont, and the other keyboard sounds are from my (now broken) Yamaha Reface CP.
As for the composition, this is a chorus and modulation demo of a song I’m slowly working on.
Bruh, I had to repost this since there was an audio encoding error that would cause Elten to crash.
