If the rhythms aren’t in sync, then I give up.

Nice. And what if the rythems arn’t in sink?

If the tempo is different the songs will drift apart, so I have to compensate for that. If they’re not in either the same key, or compatible keys, I have to change that as well

Nice. Probably the tempo was to fast or to slow?

I took the instrumental of Return of the Mack and the vocal track from It Wasn’t Me and lined them up in Audacity, had to do some tempo correction IIRC
