Administrative Message for Missing Teen
I originated this alert a short time ago (as of writing this post.) This is a recording of my original relay, plus a relay from GWES EAS Relay Network southeastern core station ERN/KLT in Miami Florida. (Northeastern core station ERN/JON in Fairfax VA doesn’t relay EAS originated ADRs.)

Speechify Tom Test Microsoft Speech Server 2004, CRS EAS)
YouTUbe user Max Baykowski modified the image of Microsoft Speech Server 2004 to include NVDA, meaning that us blind folk now have access to as close to the real Tom used at the NWS from around 2002-2016 as anybody else has. This was my first test.

My Old SAGE 1822

Unrealistic EAS Mock: Disease
My best friend asked me to create an unrealistic EAS mockup several months ago, so I spat this out in about an hour. This was where I finally started to find my stride in mimicing the sound of broadcast radio, starting with AM. This is what made me develop my AM Radio macro for Audacity.…

If The Shit Biscuit Ran ERN/KNA
I own a second EAS encoder unit, it’s a HollyAnne HU961 from the mid to late 90s, and I’ve given mine the nickname of the Shit Biscuit. It’s tiny and terrible. It requires an external audio switcher, uses a 1/8 inch (3.5MM) TS mono headphone cable for power, and only records audio at a 5KHz…

EXCUSE ME WHAT???
This was at the end of a Life Threatening Flash Flood Warning in New Mexico. This is terrifying wording!
