Got some new-old stock TDK SA90 tapes, the gold standard of Chrome (type II) tapes. Damn this thing sounds good. Recorded and played using DOlby B noise reduction, which I don’t think I’m the biggest fan of.

iF YOUR EQUIPMENT ISN’T SET UP CORRECTLY OR IF YOU HAVE DIRTY TAPE HEADS, USING NOISE REDUCTION CAN MAKE THE AUDIO SOUND MUFFLED.
