Selvis BrailleSense 6 FM Radio Recordings, a complicated relationship

The BrailleSense 6 has a built in FM radio and you can record from it. If you’re on a good strong station, like the one in this recording) it sounds unbelievably fantastic (an actual station engineer in Charleston thought I’d recorded an aircheck from the web stream and not over the radio.) However, if the signal is even slightly weak, it’ll quickly fall back to mono, a little too quickly. And if the signal is poor, it’ll reduce the trebble horribly. Basically, for a good strong station it’s my go-to radio recording unit, but it has to be tickled just right to get a result like this:
