FSU replaced the ATM in the Falcon center at some point, the old one used Microsoft Zira as its TTS, this one uses pre-recorded clips of NeoSpeech Kate stored at very low quallity. The low bit depth and bit crusher are just how this sounds. I happened to use an ATM 200 miles away in a hotel and it was the same way.

Not sure, I don’t own the ATM and there’s no configuration. I’ve seen ATMs use Zira, Tom and now Kate, but that entirly depends on the sftware the unit runs.

Yeah, they’re typically decent at that. I didn’t record the full prompts since I needed to get the cash, but if you hit a certain button at the start it’ll give a full guided tour of the locations of everything.
